Ivory Rose partner with Jo’s Cervical Trust for lingerie campaign

“Be proud of your body no matter what you have been through.”




Fuller bust lingerie brand Ivory Rose have teamed up with the UK’s leading cervical cancer charity, Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust, to raise awareness for the charity and celebrate being proud and positive about your body no matter what you have been through.


 The campaign features three women who have suffered from cervical cancer and are now in remission. Not only did they want to do the shoot to raise awareness for Jo’s Cervical Trust but also to empower themselves and others to be proud and positive of their body no matter what they have been through.


The ladies who took part in the shoot included 33-year-old Laura Flaherty from Leigh who was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2016, just days before her 30th birthday. Now 2 years cancer free, Laura explains why she took part in this shoot,

“I took part in the shoot for a few different reasons but mainly because I’m proud of my body and what’s it’s done. To many people it’s not the perfect body BUT they don’t know what journey it’s been on or what it’s been through. I LOVE my body, it’s my superpower.”


Claire Nunn, 39 years old from Romford, also modelled the latest lingerie collection from Ivory Rose. Claire, who has been in remission from cervical cancer for just over a year wanted to do the shoot for the real women out there;

“I wanted to show real women that they can wear beautiful lingerie and be proud of their bodies no matter what they have been through. I loved all the lingerie pieces and felt so confident and amazing on the day of the photoshoot!”


Thirty-year-old Gemma Quinlan from Manchester has been in remission for 5 years after being diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2014. Gemma who is passionate about raising awareness on cervical cancer commented;

“I was over the moon to be asked to take part in the shoot for Ivory Rose and I immediately said yes for a few reasons. I work hard raising awareness and I love seeing brands getting involved, spreading the message of the importance of attending smear tests. When a brand that promotes body positivity asked me to prance around in beautiful lingerie, I was more than happy to get involved! Ivory Rose do not edit images of their models and I just love that.”
